Warriors Rugby Club Helsinki is a rugby club in Helsinki. The club was founded in 2001, when rugby as a sport was played by only a few individuals in Finland. During the first years, the club had players and members from more than 20 different countries. Warriors was the first club in Finland to establish a women's rugby team, and has won four women's and nine men's XV Championships. Today WRC is one of the most successful rugby clubs in Finland, and since 2008 always finished the men's XV's season in the top 2 (except 2017). WRC also fields several national team players. Warriors RC can be considered a pioneer in Finnish junior rugby, and is the first club to offer rugby for all age groups, from 3 years to adult level. As of 2023, half of the signed up U18 players are licensed to Warriors. Warriors has a great community of players and volunteers from different backgrounds, and is always open and welcoming for newjoiners. Currently, WRC is looking for new sponsors to fund training gear and junior activities.
